Donor: U.S. Embassy in Georgia
Budget: 8000 USD
Duration: June 1, 2024 - October 1, 2024

Media Development Foundation (MDF) with financial support from U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi is implementing the project "Operation Infektion- Gamification for Media Literacy.”

The project aims to promote the online game Operation INFEKTION developed within the US Embassy supported project, Media Literacy Youth Lab for Responsible Media Consumption. The goal of the game is to test how familiar the player is with Soviet propaganda methods
and active measures.

An awareness-raising campaign for the promotion of the game will be implemented through well-tailored educational activities. These activities will include the development of educational resources, such as an information sheet about the game for educators and detailed guidelines.

Additionally, MDF will launch an online quiz competition based on questions from the game. The three participants with the highest scores will be announced as winners.

At the end of the project, MDF will conduct a presentation of the game and media literacy resources, during which the winners of the online quiz competition will be awarded.
