Self-regulation

Pursuant to Article 14 of the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting and the Code of Conduct of Broadcasters adopted by the Georgian National Communication Commission (GNCC) in 2009, broadcasters are obliged to establish an efficient complains mechanism for considering customers’ complaints.

If  a broadcaster breaches the Code of Conduct, apply to us through filling out a provided questionnaire and the Media Development Foundation, MDF will present your complaint in a broadcaster's self-regulation body.

MEDIA LITERACY: BOTTOM-UP. New approaches and stronger stakeholders for promotion of media literacy in the post-Soviet states

The Project aims to develop and distribute new approaches of Media Literacy and empower actors of media literacy in 5 countries - Ukraine, Belarus, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, in order to increase the level of media literacy among society. 

The project contemplates adapting media literacy approaches to national contexts, building organisational capacity, accumulating the expert knowledge within and around the network, supporting sharing of experience among experts and organizations from different countries. 

Within the framework of the project 10 mini-projects on media literacy with innovative approaches will be implemented, 2 international workshops and 1 train-the-trainer seminar in each project country will be conducted.
