Media Development Foundation, MDF releases the new publication "Gendermediator”. The goal of the present publication is the promotion of professional covering of gender issues by media; to raise the awareness on the basis of local and international experience of present and future journalists in the regulatory norms and professional standards of the sphere, as well as to facilitate an effective implementation of selfregulatory mechanisms, that is the important precondition for raising of gender issues’ coverage quality in media.

The publication was released with the support of the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Georgian National Commission for USENCO.
