Self-regulation

Pursuant to Article 14 of the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting and the Code of Conduct of Broadcasters adopted by the Georgian National Communication Commission (GNCC) in 2009, broadcasters are obliged to establish an efficient complains mechanism for considering customers’ complaints.

If  a broadcaster breaches the Code of Conduct, apply to us through filling out a provided questionnaire and the Media Development Foundation, MDF will present your complaint in a broadcaster's self-regulation body.

Women's Movement announced the rally across the country

On November 17, at Frontline Club the presentation of "Women's Movement" was held. The movement unites all the people for whom gender equality and women's rights are important.

The presentation was attended by the activists, people working in various fields, politicians and NGO representatives.

The participants are protesting over recent increased number of facts of violence against women and are planning to hold rally in 17 towns of Georgia on November 25, in connection with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Activists from Armenia, Kirgizstan and Uzbekistan are planning to join the rally.

Media Development Foundation (MDF) joins the movement.
