Self-regulation

Pursuant to Article 14 of the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting and the Code of Conduct of Broadcasters adopted by the Georgian National Communication Commission (GNCC) in 2009, broadcasters are obliged to establish an efficient complains mechanism for considering customers’ complaints.

If  a broadcaster breaches the Code of Conduct, apply to us through filling out a provided questionnaire and the Media Development Foundation, MDF will present your complaint in a broadcaster's self-regulation body.

Competition for IDP youths

Media Development Foundation, MDF announces competition of essays and drawings on the theme - "Life after war”. The opportunity to participate in the competition is given to the youths from 10 years to 17 who was intentionally displaced during the Russia-Georgia war on 2008. The works of the competition participants must reflect the war events impressions and their looks for the future. The dead line for work presentations is October 14, 2009.

The works can be presented at educational resource centers  at Gori, Qareli, Tetriskaro, Mckheta, Khashuri and Bolnisi, at special MDF boxes placed in schools or at Media Development Foundation, MDF office in Tbilisi on address: Al. Chavchavadze ave №54.

The competition is implementing within the frames of the project "Youth Competition – Supporting Civil Integration of Young IDPs”. The project is supported by U.S. Embassy Democracy Commission small grants program. The goal of the project is supporting integration and self-realization of  intentionally displased youths suffered durin Russia-Georgia war and  ensuring their involvement in public life.
