The Media Development Foundation (MDF) announces the call for the position of Media Programs Manager.

Main Responsibilities: 

• Managing media projects and  communicating with donors and international organisations on relevant topics;
• Studying and analysing the media environment and initiating new related projects and activities;
• Researching media literacy, updating MDF’s training modules and creating new learning resources in cooperation with fact-checkers and other thematic researchers;
• Conducting trainings;
• Performing other relevant tasks. 

Qualification and Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in journalism or media studies/academia;
• Experience in organising and conducting trainings;
• Written and verbal proficiency in English;
• Higher education in the field of social sciences (preference will be given to a candidate who has received an education in the field of media and communication at a Western university);
• Command of office computer programs; presentation skills;
• Communication and teamwork skills.

Remuneration: 1000-1200 USD equivalent in GEL (GROSS); to be determined individually, considering the working and academic experience of the applicant. 

Workload: Full-time
